In the year 2019, the first time NEET-UG conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA)

For the academic session 2021 medical aspirants seeking MBBS admission in India or Abroad (any country) NEET-UG qualifying score required.

For Example, if you want to apply for MBBS in Bangladesh you need to score a minimum qualifying score to take the NMC (formally MCI) Eligibility certificate. That Eligibility certificate required to seat Foreign Medical Graduates Examination (FMGE) when you come back after 5 years of completing an MBBS degree from Bangladesh.

Condition 1. Indian Medical Candidate Appeared NEET-UG Must Obtained Minimum Score UR-119, OBC/SC/ST-96

MBBS in Bangladesh NEET is Must from 2021

A common National Entrance Exam viz. The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test has been made mandatory for admission to all medical courses in the country. Indian students can also pursue medical education abroad such as in Bangladesh and have to qualify for a Screening Test called Foreign Medical Graduates Exam (FMGE), for registration to practice in India after obtaining primary medical qualification (MBBS) overseas. It has come to notice that medical institutions / Universities of foreign countries admit Indian students without proper assessment or screening of the student’s academic ability to cope up with medical education with the result that many students fail to qualify for the Screening Test.

In this regard, the proposal of the Medical Council of India (MCI) to amend the Screening Test Regulations, 2002, making it mandatory to qualify NEET UG to pursue foreign medical courses has been approved by this Ministry.

To Study MBBS in Bangladesh MCI Eligibility Just Score 50 Percentile in NEET-UG

Thus, the Indian Citizens / Overseas Citizens of India intending to obtain a primary medical qualification from any medical institution outside India, on or after May 2018, shall have to mandatory qualify the NEET-UG for admission to the MBBS course in Bangladesh. The result of NEET-UG shall be deemed to be treated as the Eligibility Certificate for such persons, provided that such persons fulfill the eligibility criteria for admission to the MBBS course prescribed in the Regulations on Graduate Medical Education, 1997.
