No Doubt, the standard and quality of  medical study in Bangladesh in much better than so called developed countries like China, Russia, Philippines, Ukraine – in those countries you cannot find clinical base medical study where as in India or in Bangladesh more emphasis on clinical base.

We, will discuss here about medical study pattern in Bangladesh which is very similar to India,

The MBBS course in Bangladesh comprises five years, followed by compulsory rotatory internship of one year which can be opt in own country. The course follows semester system, each semester consisting of six months. The MBBS course is divided in to three phases, viz., Pre-Clinical, Para-Clinical and Clinical Phase

Medium of Instruction: English

Duration: MBBS course comprises of 5 Years, followed by logbook based rotatory internship for one year which is optional for Indian Students

The MBBS course is divided into four (4) phases.

NB: All academic activities including professional examination of each phase must be completed within the specified time of the phase.

The university examinations will be held in the first week of January and July each year.

• Pathology includes General Pathology, Systemic Pathology, Haematology & Clinical Pathology.
• Microbiology includes Bacteriology, Immunology, Virology, Parsitology & Mycology.
• Medicine includes Internal Medicine, Paediatrics, Psychiatry, Dermatology, Venereal diseases and Physical Medicine.
• Surgery includes General and Fiegional Surgery, Orthopaedics and Traumatology, Ophthalmology, Otorhinolaryngology, Anaesthesiology, Fiadiology, Fiadiotherapy, Blood Transfusion and Dentistry.
• Obstetrics and Gynaecology includes Neonatology and Family Planning.

Formative (10% of Written Exam of each paper of each subject )
MCQ(20% for each paper (20 Ques — 20 Min‘s))
SAQ (70% for each paper)
Oral and Practical for each subject as in Curriculum
