MBBS Study Pattern in Bangladesh

Bangladesh MBBS Course Duration is 5 (Five) years

The MBBS course in Bangladesh comprises 5 (five) years, followed by a compulsory rotatory internship of one year which can be opt-in to own country. The course follows a semester system, each semester consisting of six months. The MBBS course is divided into four phases.

Medium of Instruction: English

Duration: MBBS course comprises Five 5 Years, followed by a logbook-based rotatory internship for one year which is optional for Indian Students.

NB: All academic activities including professional examination of each phase must be completed within the specified time of the phase.

The university examinations will be held in the first week of January and July each year.

• Surgery includes General and Regional Surgery, Orthopaedics and Traumatology, Ophthalmology, Otorhinolaryngology, Anaesthesiology, Radiology, Radiotherapy, Blood Transfusion and Dentistry.
• Obstetrics and Gynaecology includes Neonatology and Family Planning.
