MBBS Admission 2017 Updates – Notification for Medical Course In Bangladesh

Dear Students, Please read all instructions before applying for MBBS Course in Bangladesh

The admission process for studying MBBS in Bangladesh Private Medical Colleges (Self-Financing Scheme) will start from July 05, 2017 under Dhaka University, Chittagong University and Rajshahi University of Bangladesh (Approved by Bangladesh Medical & Dental Council – BM&DC and Member of South East Asia Regional Organization for Medical Council). Student can book their seat earlier before it filled up by giving them token money.

Eligibility Criteria for Admission

Applicants who passed H.S. (10+2) in 2016 & 2017 are only eligible for admission in MBBS Study in Bangladesh.

Applicants must have passed H.S. (10+2) Examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English (PCBE) as their major/compulsory subject.

For admission in Non-Government (Private) Medical Colleges – A student must secure 60-65% (G.P.A- 3.5) marks in aggregate to all subjects of class 10th 65% marks secured in Biology. The combined total of GPA in S.S.C. & H.S. (10th be compiled with GPA – 7 (3.5+3.5) and above for seeking admission in Non-Government Private Medical colleges.

For admission in Government Medical Colleges – A student must secure (G.P.A- 4) 70% and above marks in aggregate to all subjects of class 10th and above secured in Biology. The combined total of GPA in S.S.C. & H.S. (10th be GPA – 8 (4+4) and above for seeking admission in Government Medical colleges.

For admission in SAARC Quota – A student must secure 90-95% and above marks in aggregate to all subjects of class 10th secured in Biology. The combined total of GPA in S.S.C. & H.S. (10th (4+5 or 5+4) and above for seeking admission in SAARC Quota. (**Only 13 seats are allotted in All India for SAARC Quota**).

Documents Required And Processing

The original certificates (Marks Sheet) of SSC & HSC (10th & 10+2) must be attested by the Education Ministry or Board and Ministry of External Affairs

The original certificate must be sent or produced to the Director General of Health & Services (DGHS) to collect the Equivalency Certificate through Embassy.

Applicant must have his/her passport before Sep 15, 2017
